Videc is a desktop application developed and operated by Techask OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. It allows users to convert and cut video files locally on their device. These Terms govern your access to and use of Videc and any related services.
Videc is available to users of all ages. If you are under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country), you must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before creating an account. By using Videc you confirm you meet this requirement.
To use Videc you must create an account with accurate information, including your email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, all activity under your account, and notifying us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
Videc is subscription-based. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel beforehand in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — no partial refunds are issued. We may update pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app notification.
With an active subscription and subject to these Terms, Techask OÜ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Videc on your personal devices for lawful purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, sublicense, or redistribute the application, use it to process content you have no rights to, or circumvent any license enforcement mechanisms.
You agree to use Videc only for lawful purposes. You must not use it to process content that infringes third-party rights, is illegal or harmful, or to gain unauthorized access to our systems or disrupt our services.
All intellectual property rights in Videc — including the software, design, trademarks, and logos — belong to or are licensed by Techask OÜ. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. Your video files remain your property; we claim no rights over content you process with Videc.
Videc is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techask OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Estonian courts, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
