Only if you want it to. There is an optional "Clean Up" setting that removes the original files after a successful conversion. It is disabled by default — your originals are kept unless you explicitly enable this option.
Yes, Videc works entirely offline. All processing happens locally on your device. Your video files are never uploaded to any server.
