Videc is operated by Techask OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (EU). We are the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through Videc. Contact: [email protected].
Account information. When you register we collect your email address and any profile details you choose to provide. This is used to manage your account, authenticate you, and send important service communications.
Billing data. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details, only limited billing records (subscription status, transaction IDs) for account management.
Usage & analytics. We collect anonymized data about how you interact with Videc — such as feature usage patterns, crash reports, OS type, and app version — to improve the app. We never access or upload your video files; all processing happens locally on your device.
For users in the EEA and UK: account and billing data is processed on the basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)); analytics on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)); marketing communications on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); and legal obligations on Art. 6(1)(c).
We use the data we collect to provide and maintain your account and subscription, authenticate you, process payments, send transactional emails, analyze usage to improve the app, diagnose technical issues, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with trusted service providers who assist us in operating Videc: payment processors, analytics providers, and infrastructure/hosting providers. All are bound by data processing agreements. We may also disclose data when required by law.
Techask OÜ is based in Estonia (EU). If data is transferred outside the EEA we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after deletion. Billing records are kept for up to 7 years as required by Estonian accounting law. Identifiable analytics data is deleted within 24 months.
EEA / UK (GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what data we collect, to delete your data, and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal data.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided data without consent, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption and access controls. No internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
